VALBURG CROSSROADS
Located in the South East of the Netherlands, lay the 6 hectares big, airsoft and Paintball location called crossroads. The location was previously known as King Forest, before airsoft organization Critical Hit started to organize weekly skirms here.
The location had some small fences and walls spread out through the forest, but no real bases, compounds or houses. We researched the location’s layout, opportunities and where bottle necks and other challenges may occur. We made our proposal for the development plan and started building.
AS always the airsoft community came through in a big way, with motivated airsoft players and volunteers helping to achieve our goal.
Safety
During the time crossroads was uses as a paintball field the Safety had seen major relocations and renovations.
When the Location was known as Kings Forest the safety was in the middle of the area.
After moving it to the edge of the field we generated a bigger field to play on.
After the relocation waterproof shelters had to be build, first with steel piping, after that with wood.
The steel turned out to be too flexible for what we used it for.
In the months coming the safety got a much need upgrade. the MAYO Catering container.
Here you could enjoy a drink and a good meal.
Mayo had a specialty
